entwine#

entwine is a small Gleam CLI that helps you find your Bluesky friends on Tangled. It compares your Bluesky and Tangled follow lists, finds accounts you follow on Bluesky that have Tangled profiles but that you do not yet follow on Tangled, then offers to follow them for you.

What it does#

  1. Resolves your AT Protocol handle to a DID and PDS.
  2. Lists your app.bsky.graph.follow and sh.tangled.graph.follow records.
  3. Checks which Bluesky follows have a Tangled profile.
  4. Displays the accounts followed only on Bluesky.
  5. After confirmation, creates Tangled follow records for those accounts.

I wrote this to explore Gleam, so it comes with absolutely no warranty and a lot of jank. :3

Usage#

Run the tool from a checkout:

gleam run

It prompts for your handle, opens a browser-based OAuth authorization flow with a localhost callback, prints the accounts it found, and asks for confirmation before creating any Tangled follows. It requests atproto repo:sh.tangled.graph.follow; reading the public follow lists does not require additional scopes.
